Position Overview: We are an AV-rated nationally recognized law firm currently looking for a great Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, or San Francisco. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of liability claims, personal injury and/or products liability and be able to handle cases from inception to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis of legal issues
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court, before administrative bodies, in arbitration, or during negotiations
- Review and draft contracts, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide advice to clients on legal rights, obligations, and remedies
- Analyze legal risks and provide creative solutions
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in FL or CA state bar
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation and the law
- Excellent research, drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple cases at once
- Experience in providing legal advice and representation in personal injury and products liability cases (preferred)
